These two images were produced for a project about Consumerism. I researched the way our society lives, and the way in which money and credit are regarded as sustenance today, rather than food and water. People no longer regard food as what is needed to survive, and instead feel that their lives revolve around money. The first image was development of my concept and idea, which I then expanded upon to produce my final piece. I feel my images, especially the second, illustrate and dramatise the extent to which people rely on money, and the negative effect such consumerism has.
